As what’s written in title, we are ready to abandon the old-fashioned browsers and enable full HTTPS. In general, please update to the modern browser ASAP in order to get a better experience with popowayCloud.
This is a hard choice. We always care about every user’s browsing habit and accessibility to update their browser. We also consider compatibility as an fundamental element when designing our products. Users wish a superior animation and excellent functionality, but not an escapade called updating browser.
As a team of modern cloud service provider, however, our heartfelt desire goes out that everyone should gain the modern technology, once they did this simple but meaningful update. We have already tried our best to adjust all arguments and parameters, while some encryption protocols and open source gateways do require a stronger environment to be executed or performed. For instance, the new feature called Certificate Transparency was deployed recently on our server nodes, which helps you and your browsers review and audit our certificate, so that you won’t be cheated by Man-in-the-middle Attack (MITM). Unfortunately, it only support version 11 or higher for Internet Explorer.
We also added support for other advanced security integrations, such as Secure Renegotiation, Downgrade Attack Prevention, Forward Secrecy, etc. These properties protect your privacy and decrease loading time with assistance of contemporary navigator.

The new compatibility policy will take effect in September 30th, 2017. After that date, we will switch to the modern-only mode. Then, if you still try to log in using an ancient browser, you will be noticed either “The encryption protocol / method is unsupported” or “You need to update your browser”.
