November Maintenance

This blog post contains two(2) separate maintenance notifications, which are SP Maintenance (November 2017) and Main November Maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience.

1. Main November Maintenance

The popowayCloud Team has scheduled a system update for the majority of popowayCloud server-side services in US/NJ computing infrastructures, starting from October 3.

To make your experience on cloud even better, we periodically maintain and update our products. It’s like housekeeping: squashing bugs, cleaning up code, and other small-but-mighty improvements. For the sake of deploying necessary updates, miscellaneous popowayCloud services in US servers (including TN and CDN in US/NJ) will be offline between the date/times listed below:

Start Date: November 3rd
Start Time: 12:30 PM UTC

End Date: November 4th
End Time: 12:30 AM UTC

During this update, customers visiting from US may experience brief periods of latency or packetloss while data is rerouted to other redundant servers across the world.

Tunnel Network (US) will be unavailable during this upgrade. Other products and services will not be affected.

2. SP Maintenance (November 2017)

Dear customers,

One of our server providers, Vultr, is now planning to update their network systems. popowayCloud Blog, TN(US), and Portal will suffer brief periods of latency, while other domestic services won’t be affected.

New Jersey Scheduled Maintenance – 2017-11-02
Event Type: Network Upgrade

Event Summary: The New Jersey network will be upgraded to provide network enhancements as part of ongoing efforts to provide excellent service and maintain an ideal hosting environment. A device reload may be necessary and some customers may experience brief periods of latency or packetloss while routes are updated across the redundant topology.
