The popowayCloud Team has scheduled a web server security certificate update for popowayCloud Websites, starting from July 27.
To make your experience on cloud even better, we periodically maintain and update our products. It’s like housekeeping: squashing bugs, cleaning up code, and other small-but-mighty improvements. For the sake of enhancing security mechanisms, and speeding up user-side browsing and processing tasks, all popowayCloud Websites (except for Tunnel Network website), and all popowayCloud web services will be suffering temporary latency of transmission and possible disconnection between the date/times listed below:
Start Date: July 27th
Start Time: 10:30 PM UTC
End Date: July 28th
End Time: 12:30 AM UTC
popowayCloud Tunnel Network will not be affected. Other products and services will not be affected.
For developers:
This update will be the last update that supports Certificate Transparency SCT (signed certificate timestamp) in both Certificate Embedding and TLS extension. Starting next update (anticipated Mid-October), TLS extension will no longer be supported in order for certificate issuance automation, easier quality control and server load reduction.
